1. Do you often write something by hand?

Personally, I rarely write something by hand. Currently, with the growing popularity of the Internet and other digital devices such as smartphones or computers, handwriting is not as popular as it used to be in the past. In fact, I just hand write a letter to my sweetheart, my parents and my friends on some special occasions, which take place once in a year.

It depends on what I’m doing. I prefer the computer for most things because it’s faster and you can save or copy things, but I still like making notes or writing ideas down by hand.

3. Do you think emails can replace handwriting?

In my opinion, there is a little chance that handwritten letters are replaced by emails. It is true that the technological revolution has led handwriting to become less popular than ever. However, I think it is still irreplaceable in our daily life because it is capable of conveying more meaningful messages than just typewriting. As each person has their own writing style and has to put effort into writing manually, their handwriting not only demonstrates their identity but also shows their sentiment in the text. Therefore, it may be impossible for the emails to replace handwriting.

4. What are the differences between handwriting and emails?

Obviously, handwriting and emails are quite different from each other. In terms of speed, hand-written letters take more time to complete than writing emails. Regarding purposes, handwritten letters tend to convey more emotions and are more personal than emails.
